Amar Shoe & Leather Wears

Amar Shoe & Leather Wears is down at 163-A Block A in Sector 80. We are pretty close to Rahul Motors, which is a good landmark if you're trying to find us for the first time. The shop has been here a good while. Sector 80 is a bit of an industrial area, so it gets dusty and noisy with all the traffic. We don't mind it much though. Inside, it smells like leather and old machines, which is just how we like it. We focus on shoes and leather stuff, mostly just sticking to what we know. My father started this and now we’re just keeping it going. It’s a family thing, really. We have some old tools that we still use because they work better than the new ones sometimes. The workbench is always covered in scraps and thread. It might look like a mess to someone else, but it’s a working mess. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny floors. We’d rather spend that on better materials. Sometimes the neighbors come by for a chat. Rahul Motors always has people waiting around, so some of them wander over to see what we're doing. It’s a simple life here in Block A. We just want to make shoes that last and keep the doors open. No big talk, just leather and hard work every day. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we haven't got around to fixing it yet.
