Sri Raja Rajeshwari Rice Mill

Located at Pl.No.9-33 on Sushila Road in Kamareddy, our mill is a straightforward place for processing rice. It isn't located in a busy commercial hub, so it’s a bit quieter until the machines start up. We have a large shed where the raw rice is kept before it goes into the huller. The air inside always smells like dry earth and grain. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment because the dust builds up fast. On Sushila Road, the neighbors are used to the vibration of the mill running through the afternoon. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here because of the sign out front. Sometimes the power goes out and we all sit outside in the shade of the neem tree until it comes back on. It’s a slow-paced life until the harvest season hits, and then we are working late into the night under some bright bulbs. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the gate and keep us company. The office is just a corner of the main building with a metal cupboard for files and a few plastic chairs for visitors. We focus on getting the rice ready for the local markets. It’s a simple, honest living that doesn’t require much more than a bit of hard work and patience.
