Lalitha Flour Mill

Our flour mill is right in the Pedda Bazar area of Kamareddy. We have been here for a good number of years now, and most of the people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s a simple setup where we grind grains like wheat and maize for local families and small shops. If you come by during the day, you’ll hear the hum of the machines and see the white dust on everything near the entrance. We aren't a big industrial operation; it's just a local mill where we do the work ourselves. People bring their bags of grain, and we make sure it gets ground down to the right texture for whatever they are cooking. It’s dusty and loud work, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that we like. We don't have any fancy marketing or high-tech systems. We just use the same reliable methods we’ve always used. Sometimes a machine breaks down or the power goes out, which can slow things down, but we just fix what we can and carry on. The Telangana heat can be a bit much in the afternoons, but the mill stays relatively cool inside. We take pride in just being a regular part of the market here. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just provide a basic service that people need every day. It is steady work and it keeps us connected to the community around us.
