Shaik Marbles

We've been running Shaik Marbles for quite some time now over on Main Road in Mubaraknagar. If you are looking for us, we are right near Victoria Function Hall, which most people in Nizamabad know pretty well. It’s a busy spot and there is always a lot of dust because that is just the way it is with stone. We have piles of marble slabs sitting around the yard. Some are white, some have veins, and some are just plain. It is heavy work moving these things. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us who know how to handle the stone without breaking it. Sometimes the weather gets really hot here and moving marble feels twice as hard. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in the main area, just a small fan in the office. People come in with their measurements on bits of paper and we try to find something that fits. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in big cities. It’s just a workspace with a lot of heavy inventory. We mostly deal with local folks who are building their first home or maybe fixing up a kitchen. We've seen a lot of houses go up in Nizamabad over the years. We just stay here and keep the yard organized as much as possible. It is a simple life and we like being part of the local community here.
