Roop Singh Tractor And Trally is right here in Jangampally, at house number 8-59/72/26 in Bhiknoor. It started because there was a need for moving things around the farms and the village area. We spend most of our days out in the sun with the tractor. Sometimes it's hauling dirt, other times it's helping out with a neighbor's field work. The engine makes a lot of noise early in the morning when we get going. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually covered in grease or soil by noon. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the tractor and the trolley parked out front. People just come by the house when they need something moved or if they have a job for the day. It's been part of the landscape for a while now. We know the roads around Bhiknoor really well, even the bumpy ones that get muddy when it rains. The trolley gets banged up a bit from the rocks and heavy loads, but we just fix it and keep going. Every day is different depending on who stops by. We just try to get the work done before the sun goes down. It's simple work but it keeps us busy and part of the community here. If the tractor isn't running, we're usually out back cleaning it or checking the oil. That's just how life is for us here at the house in Jangampally.
