Our place is over at 67-82-16 in Peddapadu. It’s a very simple setup, basically just a room with a desk and a couple of stools for people to sit on. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through. Peddapadu is a quiet place for the most part, and we like it that way. We spend our days dealing with the land around here. People come to us when they want to buy a small plot or sell some of their family property. We’ve lived in this area our whole lives, so we know who owns what and where the boundaries are without having to look at a map most of the time. The office is often a bit dusty because of the road right outside, but we try to sweep it every morning. We don't have a computer here; we do all our writing and record-keeping by hand in big leather-bound books. It takes longer, but it feels right to us. Sometimes a neighbor will stop by just to sit for a bit and escape the sun. We usually have some cold water in a clay pot to offer them. It’s not a corporate business by any means. It’s just us helping out the local folks with their real estate needs. We take things one day at a time and don't worry too much about being the biggest office in town.
