Jadhav Raya Bai Graindings Flour Mill

Our flour mill is tucked away in Mallaram, Nizamabad, at H No:- 6-51/41 in Golla Gutta Thanda. It’s a small place but the machines make a lot of noise when they are running at full speed. You can usually smell the fresh flour from down the street before you even see us. People from the village bring their heavy bags of wheat, rice, or even dried chilies to get them ground up for cooking. The air inside is always a bit white from the dust of the grains flying around. We spend a lot of time cleaning the stones and making sure the belts are tight so the machines don't fail. It’s hard work on the back, lifting those heavy sacks all day long. Sometimes the power flickers and we have to stop and start again, which slows everything down. We don't have a big fancy office, just the grinding area and a place for people to sit while they wait for their grain. My family helps out when it gets really busy during the festival seasons. Everyone knows where Jadhav Raya Bai’s place is because we’ve been here serving the local folks for quite some time now. It’s a simple business. We take the raw grain and give back the ground powder. It’s dusty and loud but it’s what we do. We like seeing the neighbors and catching up while the machines do their thing. It’s just part of life here.
