Gayatri Sugar

We've been here on Nizamsagar Village Road for a while now. It's a busy spot in Kamareddy. Most days it's just about keeping the machines running and making sure the sugar gets loaded onto the trucks without too much trouble. It gets dusty, and the heat doesn't help much, but that's how it is. People know where Gayatri Sugar is because of the plot number 5-23/432. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. Just a work site where we get things done. Sometimes the trucks line up early in the morning and it gets a bit chaotic. We try to keep things moving. My cousin used to work the scales, now it's just a few of us. We've seen the road change over the years, more traffic now than before. It’s hard work, dealing with the raw materials and the processing side of things. We just focus on the daily tasks. If the power stays on, we have a good day. Otherwise, we're just waiting around. It’s a simple setup. Not much to look at from the outside. Just a local place doing what we know. We mostly deal with the regular buyers who have been coming here for years. It's steady. The shed needs a new coat of paint, but the roof doesn't leak, so we haven't bothered with it yet. We just keep the gates open and the bags moving out the door.
