Down here on Upper Bazaar Street in Coonoor, the air is usually a bit chilly, and things are a lot quieter than the big cities. We spend our days going through policy documents and helping folks understand what they’re signing up for. Sometimes the mist rolls in so thick you can barely see the street outside, but we stay open regardless. We deal with everything from car accidents to health issues, and it can get a bit heavy sometimes seeing what people are going through. But we just try to be helpful and get the paperwork processed as fast as the system allows. The tea estates are all around us, and a lot of our work involves the people who live and work on them. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets, just some desks, computers, and a lot of files. It’s a small team, and we usually end up sharing lunch and talking about local news. It’s just a regular part of life in the Nilgiris, helping neighbors keep their stuff protected while enjoying the slow pace of the town.
