We are based in the Victoria Cross Building, specifically at room number 305. Rhino Footware has been operating from this spot for some time now. Being in a building like this means we share the space with a lot of other businesses, so there is always someone in the hallway or using the elevator. Our office is where the planning happens, mostly for the shoes and sandals we deal with. It is not a huge factory floor here; it is more about the management side of things and taking calls. We have a lot of samples lying around, different sizes and colors of soles and straps on the tables. Sometimes the place feels a bit cramped with all the boxes, but we make it work. We do not do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. Usually, people find us through word of mouth or because they saw the name on the directory downstairs near the entrance. The windows look out over the street, which is a nice distraction when things get quiet in the afternoon. We try to keep a regular schedule, coming in early and staying until the work is finished. It is a quiet environment for the most part, except when the phones are ringing a lot. We are not doing anything revolutionary, just keeping the footwear business moving along from our little corner of the building. It is a decent place to be.
