Jain Footwear has been sitting here in Raj Nagar Part 2, Palam Colony for a long time. People around New Delhi know Palam is a busy spot, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We have boxes of shoes stacked up pretty high, sometimes all the way to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a squeeze when customers come in, but we usually find what they’re looking for eventually. It’s a family-style environment here. We don't have fancy displays or bright flashing lights. Just shelves and wooden benches where people can sit and try things on. Most of our day is spent helping people find a pair that fits and doesn't hurt their feet. The floor is a bit worn from all the walking, but that shows we’ve been here a while. We talk to the neighbors and the other shopkeepers a lot. It’s a real community. We aren't trying to be a big mall store. We just sell footwear and try to be helpful when someone asks a question. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit confusing, especially during the festival seasons when things get hectic. But we sort it out. If you’re walking through Palam Colony, you’ll see our sign. It’s just a simple shop where we do our best to help the locals get what they need. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop and the shoes.
