Variety Packaging Industries

Our workshop is over at F-66, Phase-2 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area. Mayapuri is a loud, chaotic place to work, but it’s got a certain energy to it. Variety Packaging Industries has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. You’ve got the scrap yards and the heavy manufacturing all around us, so there’s always the sound of metal clanging or trucks reversing. Our unit is a bit worn out around the edges. The door sticks sometimes, and the floor has its fair share of cracks. But it’s where we do all our work. We deal with all kinds of packaging, so the place is usually overflowing with bubble wrap, boxes, and tape. It’s hard to keep it tidy, but we have our own system of where everything goes. The staff here is a mix of older guys who have been here forever and a few younger ones just starting out. We don't have any big meetings or corporate retreats. We just show up in the morning, see what needs to be done, and get to it. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order, and we’ll grab some food from the stall at the corner. It’s just a normal, hardworking place in a busy industrial hub. We don't pretend to be anything else. The dust is something you just learn to live with. Most of the day is just getting things loaded and unloaded. It’s just work.
