Shri Ganga Construction

Shri Ganga Construction is based out of Uttam Nagar. This is a crowded area but we like it here. We do building work and fixing up places. It’s hard work, getting out to different sites every day. Uttam Nagar has so many narrow lanes, it can be a challenge to move materials around. We spend a lot of time talking to local suppliers and getting the bricks or cement moved. It’s not a glamorous job. We are usually covered in some kind of dust by noon. Our office is simple, mostly just a place to keep the tools and talk about the next project. We don’t have a big staff, just people who know how to work with their hands. Sometimes we are working in the heat all day. We’ve done a lot of small houses and repairs around this part of town. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We don’t do much advertising. There is always someone needing a wall fixed or a floor leveled. We try to stay honest about how long things take. Construction is slow work sometimes and you can't rush the concrete. We grew up around here so we know the streets well. Uttam Nagar is home for us. We just keep building things one day at a time. It's a living and we are glad to be doing it. We hope to stay here for many more years.
