Creative Architecture Design

Our office is in Ashok Vihar, and it is a place where we spend most of our waking hours. Creative Architecture Design is not a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us working on various projects. The desks are large because we need space for all the drawings and models we make. There are rolls of tracing paper everywhere and piles of reference books that haven't been opened in months. We have a few computers that stay on all night sometimes. The floor is littered with pencil shavings and bits of cardboard. We don't have a dedicated meeting room, so we just sit around the biggest table when we need to talk. Ashok Vihar is a nice area, and we often take a walk outside when our eyes get tired from looking at screens. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel, with old coffee mugs and half-empty water bottles scattered around. We don't worry about being polished or looking like a big corporation. We just care about the lines on the paper and getting the measurements right. Sometimes we lose the measuring tape and have to search under all the blueprints for ten minutes. It is a messy process, but that is just how we work. We have a small balcony where we keep some plants that we sometimes forget to water. It is a quiet, steady place to get work done every single day without any fancy distractions.
