Down in Azadpur, things are always moving fast, especially around Kewal Park. Our place, Tutorial Vista, is tucked away at 28 A, and if you aren't looking closely, you might miss the entrance. It is a typical Delhi building with narrow stairs and a lot of wires hanging around outside. Inside, we have tried to make it comfortable enough for students to sit for a couple of hours. We deal with a lot of noise from the main road, but that is just part of life in this area. We have a few cupboards filled with old question papers and textbooks that have been used by dozens of kids over the years. Some of the chairs are a bit wobbly, but we try to fix them when we get a free minute. We aren't trying to be the biggest center in the city; we just want to make sure the kids from the surrounding streets have a place to go after their classes. Usually, the sessions run late into the evening, and we have to keep the tube lights on full brightness. There is a tea stall just around the corner where we get our snacks, and the smell of frying samosas often drifts into the classroom. It makes everyone hungry around five o'clock. We don't have any fancy software or high-tech gadgets, just some markers and a lot of patience. It’s a bit cramped when a full batch shows up, but we manage somehow and keep things moving.
