Tirupati Export And Import Corporation is located at 185, 2nd Floor, Patparganj Industrial Area. Being in an industrial area means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. It’s a practical place to be for a business like ours. Our office is up on the second floor. It’s a large room with high ceilings and a lot of metal cabinets. We have a big map pinned to the wall with some coffee stains on the corner. Our team is small, mostly people who have been with us for years. We know each other's families and what we like for lunch. Usually, we bring food from home and sit together in the back area. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure the numbers match up. We spend a lot of time double-checking addresses and shipping codes. It can be tedious, but it’s what we do. The windows are large but they get dirty pretty fast because of the dust from the nearby factories. We try to clean them once a month. There is a small temple across the street where we go sometimes when things get stressful. We don’t have a fancy website or a PR person. We just answer the phone and do the work. It’s a busy life here in Patparganj, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It feels right.
