Kas Lam International

Our office for Kas Lam International is over at No. 5 Mohan Park in Laxmi Nagar. It is a decent enough area, though parking can be a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time of day. We handle a lot of different things here, mostly coordinating shipments and making sure the logistics side of the business doesn't fall apart. It is mostly a lot of computer work and phone calls to suppliers and transport guys. Some days we are buried under folders and invoices, and other days we are just waiting for a confirmation from across the ocean. We have a small team here. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation; we just want to get the orders moved from point A to point B without any mistakes. The office has a few old chairs and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. We usually eat lunch together at the big desk. Laxmi Nagar is a lively spot to be based in. There is always something going on outside the window. We’ve been here long enough that we know the mailman and the shop owners down the road. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized. We don't do anything special, just show up and handle the day's tasks as they come. It keeps us busy and pays the bills.
