Our office is tucked away on the 3rd floor at 2285/52 Hinga Beg Street in Tilak Bazar. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when the weather is hot, but we’ve been here long enough that we don't really think about it anymore. Tilak Bazar is always crowded, with people moving stuff back and forth and carts blocking the lanes. Raja Imports & Exports Pvt. Ltd. operates from this small space, and it’s usually piled with papers and samples. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists. It’s not the quietest place to work because of the street noise below, but it feels alive. Most of us here have lived in the city our whole lives, so we’re used to the chaos of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just a group of people working out of a room in an old building. We make sure the paperwork is right and the shipments are handled. It’s a lot of routine stuff, really. If you come by Hinga Beg Street, you’ll see how it is—just a lot of hard work happening in a very busy part of town. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
