Step Up Footwear

People usually find us here in Sector 6 Dwarka when they need something decent for their feet. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass walls and bright lights that hurt your eyes. We just have shelves full of shoes and some benches where you can sit down and try them on. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up the shutters, sweep the floor, and wait for the morning rush to settle. The neighborhood is quite busy, so there is always noise from the street coming in. You might see some boxes stacked in the corner because we don’t have a huge storage room in the back. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of a rattling sound, but it keeps the air moving while customers look around. We handle all sorts of footwear, from simple sandals to the kind of shoes you’d wear to an office. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just sell shoes and make sure the sizes match what people need. If a pair doesn't fit, we go back to the stacks and look for another one. It gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the display pairs. It’s just a small shop run by a few of us who know the area well. Most of the folks who walk in live right around here and stop by while running other errands.
