Shiksharth Academy

Shiksharth Academy is located at 93/12, right on National Highway 1 in Alipur. We are pretty easy to find since we are near the Mithas Banquet Hall and the Splash Water Park. The SDM office is also close by. Because we are on the highway, there is a constant sound of trucks and cars passing by. It’s a bit different from a quiet residential area. The building is quite sturdy though. We have a few large rooms where we conduct our sessions. The furniture is practical—heavy tables and wooden chairs that have lasted us a long time. We don't have a fancy interior designer or anything. We just put things where they fit. There’s a lot of space for students to sit, and we have a small corner for books. The light comes in well during the day. Sometimes, when there’s a wedding at the banquet hall, it gets really loud and colorful outside. It’s quite a busy part of Delhi. We don't use a lot of technical jargon. We just talk to the students and their parents in plain English or Hindi. It’s a very honest kind of place. We aren't part of some big chain. It’s just us here in Alipur, helping out the kids from the surrounding villages and colonies. It’s hard work, but we enjoy the routine of it. We’ve been here for several years now.
