Shankar Dyes & Chemicals

We have been at Shankar Building in Gali No. 11 for a long time now. It is right in the middle of Sadar Bazar, so it gets pretty crowded around here with all the carts and people moving stuff. Our place handles dyes and chemicals, mostly in big bags or drums that sit near the entrance. You can usually find someone in the office writing down orders or checking the inventory. It is a busy spot. The building itself is old, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with local folks who know where we are. Sometimes the traffic in the lane makes it hard for the delivery trucks, but we manage. Inside, it is mostly shelves stacked with samples and paperwork. We do not have fancy air conditioning or anything, just a few ceiling fans that stay on all day. Most people just walk in from the street to talk about what they need for their dyeing projects. It is dusty because of the market, but that is just how it is here. We keep a ledger on the desk to track everything. Sometimes we drink tea from the stall around the corner while we wait for customers. It isn't a quiet place, but the work gets done. If you walk past the big gate, you will see us. We have seen the market change over the years, but our spot remains the same. It is just a regular shop doing its part in the bazaar.
