Saimo Import & Export

Saimo Import & Export is located right in Shalimar Village at number 450. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now, and it’s become like a second home. The building is older, with some narrow stairs and a door that sticks when the humidity gets high. We handle all sorts of goods, bringing things in and sending them out to various places. It’s mostly paperwork and coordination. You won't find any fancy logos or glass partitions here. We use old wooden desks and the walls are mostly covered in notes and phone numbers scribbled on scraps of paper. It’s a bit of a mess, but it’s our mess. My nephew helps out with the computer stuff because I’m not great with the new software they keep making us use for customs. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or polished presentations. We just focus on making sure the containers are loaded and the documents are signed. Sometimes the trucks can't get all the way into the village street, so we have to move stuff by hand to the main road. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do right by the people we work with and keep the business running for another year without any major disasters.
