Om Commodities Delhi

We are located at S- 97 School Block in Shakarpur. It’s a pretty busy part of Delhi, and the noise from the street usually starts quite early in the morning. Our office isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a crowded lane. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a couple of computers, and stacks of files that seem to grow every week. We handle commodities, so the day is usually spent on the phone or checking emails about prices and delivery schedules. It can get quite hot in the summer months, and the old air conditioner we have makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough to get the work done. There is a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our morning chai, and that’s usually when we plan out what needs to be moved for the day. Shakarpur is a maze, so we often have to give directions to people over the phone. We don't have a big fancy reception area or anything like that. It’s just a few of us trying to stay on top of the paperwork and making sure the goods get to where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the traffic is so bad that the trucks get delayed, and we just have to sit and wait. It’s not a perfect system, but we’ve been doing this for a while now and we know how things work in this neighborhood.
