Getting to Shakarpur Main Vikas Marg during rush hour is always a bit of a challenge. Our office is in the Aggarwal Complex, specifically at No. 307. It’s a typical commercial building with lots of different businesses all crammed together. Here at Jaiswal Impex, the space is mostly taken up by boxes and filing cabinets. We do a lot of importing and exporting, which sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of the day is just sitting at the desk, making sure the paperwork for the shipments matches up and calling people to see why things are delayed. The light in the hallway flickers sometimes, and the lift is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs to the third floor. It keeps us moving. The noise from the main road never really stops, but it’s part of the background now. We have a small corner for making coffee, though the local shop downstairs makes better tea. It’s not a fancy setup, just a functional place where we keep track of things coming into the country and things going out. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us working through the lists and keeping in touch with the suppliers. Sometimes the internet acts up, and everything slows down, but that's just how it goes. We stay busy and keep the business moving as best as we can.
