Talk about Peenya Industrial Area. It is dusty and busy almost every single day. We trade stuff here at Port Indus Trading Company Pvt. Ltd. and we have been at C-2-15 SDA Aurbindo Marg for a while now. Most days it is just us coordinating with drivers and checking boxes to make sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon but we manage to keep working. It is not a fancy office at all. We have desks piled with papers and a small kettle for tea in the corner. It gets quite loud outside with all the factories nearby. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at inventory lists on the computer. It is not complicated work but it needs to be done right every time. People come and go throughout the day. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. Trading is not always smooth especially with transport delays and traffic. But we sit here and drink our chai and handle whatever comes our way. The Peenya area is always active so there is never a quiet moment for us. We just focus on the shipments. If a truck is late we wait for it. If a customer calls we answer the phone. It is a regular business life. No big fancy meetings or anything just honest work. We know the neighbors and the local shops. That is how it is.
