Our office is at 27/4, Samratnagar in Ahmedabad. We are Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories Pvt Ltd and we work out of this location in India. Samratnagar is an industrial and commercial kind of area so there is a lot of work going on around us. Our building is a solid structure that houses our desks and the technical equipment we use for our engineering tasks. It is not a place for tourists or casual visitors. Most of the people who come here are here for specific business reasons. We have a lot of wires and components laying around on the workbenches. The lighting is bright because we need to see what we are doing when we are working on small parts. We don't have a fancy lunchroom, just a small corner with a microwave and a kettle. The walls are a plain color and we don't have much in the way of decoration. It is a very focused environment where we spend a lot of time thinking and testing things. Ahmedabad can get very hot so we rely heavily on the cooling system to stay productive. We've been part of this community for a bit and we just stick to our engineering work. It’s a practical space for people who like to build and fix things and we don't feel the need for any extra polish.
