Kain Sound

Kain Sound has been based out of Kirti Nagar 6/13 in the industrial area for a long time. Being in an industrial zone makes sense for us because we make a lot of noise testing out the sound systems and speakers. The workshop is always filled with the smell of solder and old dust. We have cables tangled in the corners and heavy amplifiers stacked against the walls. It’s definitely not the kind of place you’d come to see a polished office, but it’s where all the actual work happens. Most of our days are spent fixing connectors or making sure the mixers are working right before we head out to a gig. The street outside is always full of trucks and other workshops, so it’s a very busy environment. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of guys who know their way around an audio rack. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, and we have to scramble to move the gear. It’s just how things go around here. We’ve learned to be quick on our feet. We don’t talk much about things like excellence because we’re too busy making sure the microphones don't cut out in the middle of a speech. It's a straightforward job. There's an old sofa in the corner where we take breaks, but it's mostly covered in speaker covers right now. It gets the job done and keeps us close to the tools we need every day.
