Being in a bigger building like this is nice because we have good security and the elevators actually work most of the time. Our space is split between two units that we have joined up so there is a bit more room to move around than our old place. We handle a lot of different things here and the desks are usually covered in documents and ledger books. From the windows you can see a fair bit of Rohini and it is interesting to watch the traffic patterns change during the day. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and sometimes people bring in lunch from home to eat together at the main table. It is a professional enough environment but we are not the type to wear suits unless there is a very specific reason. Most of the staff has been with us for years so we all know how the others work. It makes the day go by faster when you get along with the people at the next desk. We stay pretty busy with the import side of things so the phones are usually ringing. It is just a steady pace of work in a decent part of town.
