Resources For Urban/Rural Human Welfare has an office at Unit No.205 in Krishan Mall. We are on the 1st floor of Plot No. 5 in Dwarka. It’s a bit unusual being in a mall, but it makes us easy to find for people coming from different parts of the city. The office is often full of stacks of paperwork and files related to the different programs we are involved with. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for visitors who come by to talk about community projects. The mall can get pretty busy on the weekends, but during the weekday mornings, it’s relatively quiet. You can hear the hum of the air conditioning and the distant sound of people walking in the corridors. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or typing up reports. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit a lot of materials into Unit 205. There isn’t any fancy art on the walls, just some notices and a big whiteboard where we keep track of our tasks. We drink a lot of tea while we go through the daily mail. It’s a very grounded kind of work environment. We are just a group of people trying to manage things from this small office in Dwarka. It’s practical and serves our needs for keeping the records organized and meeting with the public. Every day is a bit different here.
