Being in an apartment building makes the office feel a little more like a home than a cold business office. We have our desks set up in the rooms and it works out pretty well for us. Shakarpur is a very crowded and lively area, so there is never a dull moment. We can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long, from the vendors on the street to the neighbors moving around. Our work is mostly technical and involves a lot of sitting in front of screens. We don't have any big signs out front, so you really have to look for the apartment number to find us. It is a modest setup, but we have all the internet connection and power we need to get our work done. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group doing our best in this space. Sometimes we have meetings in the small common area, but mostly we are just busy at our own desks. It is a quiet, steady kind of life here in Gauri Shankar Apartment. We just keep our heads down and focus on the projects that we have been assigned to do each week.
