Ad Enterprises

My family has been running things at A-59 Lajpat Nagar 2 for a long time now. Ad Enterprises is just our small way of keeping busy and paying the bills every month. It’s not a big fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We mostly have old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. People in the neighborhood know us because we’ve been here so long. You can usually find me sitting near the front window watching the rickshaws go by when things are quiet. We handle a bit of everything, mostly paperwork and coordinating small projects. It gets pretty loud in Lajpat Nagar during the afternoon hours, but we’ve grown used to the noise over the years. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we just sit there talking until it comes back on. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff people write in brochures. We just show up at nine, open the shutters, and see what the day brings us. The walls could use a bit of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works fine for us. If you’re looking for us, we’re right there in the middle of the block. We aren't trying to be the biggest business in Delhi, just a steady one that treats people okay. It’s a simple life and we like the people around here. We just keep working away at our own pace.
