Rangoli Ice Cream

Rangoli Ice Cream is located in Bholenath Nagar, which is part of Shahdara in Delhi. We are right near the Post Office. It’s a busy little corner. People coming to mail letters or do their banking often stop by for a minute. We’ve been in this part of Shahdara for a good amount of time. The shop is just a plain, simple place. We don’t have fancy chairs or bright neon lights. It’s mostly just the coolers and us. We see a lot of families from the neighborhood coming in. Delhi gets so hot, so we are always kept busy in the summer months. We spend a lot of time making sure the electricity is working so nothing melts. It’s a lot of responsibility when you have a shop full of ice cream. The post office next door is a good landmark for people trying to find where we are. We know the postman and the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a tight-knit spot. We don't use any corporate language because it’s just us. We are real people serving our neighbors. Sometimes the street gets blocked with traffic or people, but that’s just Delhi for you. We just keep the shop open and wait for the regulars to show up. It’s a humble business. We try to stay organized but it is a lot of work. We are happy to be in Bholenath Nagar. It's home for us.
