Ranbaxy Fine Chemical Ltd

We are based in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-II, specifically at W-22. Okhla is a busy place with a lot of manufacturing and small units crammed together. Our building is a bit of an older one, and you can see the wear and tear on the exterior. Inside, we handle a lot of the fine chemicals, so there is a lot of specialized equipment and storage containers. It’s not the cleanest environment in the world, as there is always some kind of work going on in the back. The office part is separate, but you can still hear the machines and the trucks outside. The narrow lanes of Phase II can be a nightmare to navigate during the rush hour. We often have delivery drivers getting lost trying to find our specific gate. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with the company for years. We don't really have a reception area with a fancy desk; it's more of a walk-in-and-find-someone kind of place. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure the chemicals are stored at the right temperature. It’s a lot of routine work that requires people to be careful. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and talk about anything other than work. It’s a busy, functional place that does its job without any unnecessary sparkle.
