Ramneek Taneja

D-233 in Vivek Vihar-1 is the address where Ramneek Taneja has been based for some time. Vivek Vihar is one of those older parts of East Delhi that still has a bit of a community feel to it. The house is part of a row of similar-looking buildings, and we use a portion of the ground floor for our operations. It is a quiet street for the most part, except for the vegetable sellers who shout their prices in the mornings. We have a couple of old computers and a lot of notebooks scattered around. It is not a polished corporate environment by any stretch of the imagination. We have some old wooden chairs that are surprisingly comfortable once you get used to them. The lighting isn't great, so we usually keep the door open to let in some natural light from the porch. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who live nearby and walk to work. We like it because it is simple. We don't have to worry about long commutes or heavy traffic most days. Sometimes we spend more time talking to the courier guy than actually working, but that is just how things go here. We have lived and worked in this area for so long that we don't really want to be anywhere else. It is our small corner of the world and it serves us just fine.
