Working in Delhi is always a bit of a rush, especially when you are part of a big operation like this one. Our place is right in the middle of everything, so you can always hear the city moving outside the windows. Most mornings start with the sound of the traffic and people heading to their desks with their bags and lunch boxes. We have a lot of different departments here, so you see all kinds of people in the elevators and the hallways. It is a big place, and sometimes it takes a while to learn where everyone sits or which floor handles what. We just focus on getting through the daily tasks that come our way. There is always a lot of typing going on and phones ringing in the background. It is not always quiet, but that is just how it is in a busy Delhi office. We spend a lot of time in front of screens, sending emails back and forth and trying to stay on top of the schedule. Lunch breaks are usually spent chatting about the commute or the weather. Then it is back to the computers until it is time to head home. It is a lot of steady work, day in and day out, making sure things keep moving like they are supposed to. We don't do much fancy stuff, just keep our heads down and get the work finished before the day ends. It is just life in the city.
