Poorva Asia Overseas

Poorva Asia Overseas is way up on the 11th floor of Vikram Tower in Rajendra Place. Being in a high-rise like this means we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators, which can be slow during the lunch hour. The view from office number 1104 is actually pretty good, you can see quite a lot of the city from up here. We’ve got a few desks pushed together in the middle of the room. It’s mostly paper files and computer monitors. We deal with overseas trade, so the work is a lot of tracking numbers and checking shipping dates. It’s not particularly glamorous. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have a small corner with a microwave and a water cooler where we hang out for breaks. The carpet is a bit worn in the high-traffic areas, but that’s just how it goes in a busy office. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up. The building itself is always humming with people from all the different companies. We just stay in our corner and focus on the day’s tasks. By the time we leave, the sun is usually hitting the windows of the buildings across the street. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town.
