Being at G-11 in North Square Mall means we see a lot of people every single day. The mall is located in Netaji Subhash Palace, which is a big hub in Pitampura. Black Berry Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is a ground floor office, so it’s easy to find, even though the mall can be a bit of a maze sometimes. The air conditioning from the mall keeps us cool, which is a relief in the summer. We have a simple glass front, and inside, it’s all business. There are three or four desks, a couple of computers that are always running, and a lot of paper everywhere. We don’t have much on the walls, maybe a map or two and a calendar that someone forgot to flip to the current month. It’s a functional space. We spend most of our time answering emails and coordinating things. The mall security guards usually stop by for a chat in the mornings. It’s a strange feeling being in a shopping mall when you’re trying to work, but you get used to the music playing in the hallways. We usually eat our lunch in the office because going out into the mall food court takes too long. By the time evening rolls around, the mall gets even noisier with families and shoppers, but we’re usually finishing up our last tasks by then. It’s a good spot for us, right in the middle of everything. We just stay focused on the work.
