Richie Overseas Pvt. Ltd. has an office over in Paschim Vihar, at A-3/308. It's a quieter part of town compared to the central markets. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s basically a residential-style building that we use for our business. We do a lot of overseas trading from here. Most of the time, the rooms are filled with samples and documents. We spend hours on the phone dealing with time zones. It can get a bit tiring, but that’s the nature of the work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we keep things pretty low-key. We don't have a big staff, just a small group of us who have worked together for a long time. There's a small park nearby where we go for a walk when the office feels too cramped. We don't have a flashy sign outside. Most of our clients find us through word of mouth or old connections. The plumbing in the building is a bit old, so we have to call the repairman now and then. We handle the shipping and logistics mostly from our computers. It's a lot of back-and-forth with the customs agents. We just try to make sure everything is handled correctly so there aren't any delays at the port. It's steady work and it pays the bills. We close up around 6 PM most days to head home. Sometimes we have to work on Saturdays if a big shipment is arriving. It’s not a fancy life but it is our own business.
