Parmod Dairy & Confectionery

Our little shop is right here in Dilshad Colony. Most people around Dilshad Garden know us because they stop by for milk in the morning. It gets really busy early on when everyone is getting ready for school or work. We have the usual dairy stuff, like curd and paneer, sitting in the coolers. Then there are the glass jars filled with different candies and biscuits that the kids like. It’s a small space, so sometimes it feels a bit crowded when a few people are waiting at the counter. We try to keep everything organized, but when the deliveries come in, there are crates stacked everywhere for a bit. My family has been running this, and we’re just used to the routine of it. Some days the fridge acts up, or the power goes out, which is always a headache for the milk. We just deal with it. It’s nice seeing the same faces every day. People come in to grab a quick snack or something they forgot for dinner. We don’t have any big signs or anything, just the shop name above the door. It’s a simple place. We just make sure there is enough stock for the neighborhood. Sometimes we run out of bread by the evening, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters because milk spills happen often. It is a bit tiring but it keeps us going throughout the week.
