Paris Teacher

Paris Teacher is based at Wz-604 on the first floor. We are in Street Number 23 in Janakpuri, specifically the Shiv Nagar area. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it is a good spot once you get there. The room is filled with books and papers. It is where the teaching happens. Since we are in Janakpuri, there is always something going on in the streets below. You can hear the scooters and the people talking, but it is mostly a focused environment. We have some desks and a whiteboard. It is not a big school with a playground; it is just a space for learning. I spend most of my time here grading work or preparing for the next person to come in. The name might sound fancy, but the setup is very simple. We are tucked away in a residential street, so it is mostly quiet during the day. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks or you hear someone's television through the wall. It feels very much like a part of the community. People from around Shiv Nagar know where to find the building. We don't have any big corporate banners hanging out front. It is just a place where someone comes to sit down and learn something new. The lighting is okay, and we keep the windows open when the weather is nice. It is just a regular teaching spot in a regular Delhi neighborhood.
