Bhaskar School Of English Language

If you come to Paschim Vihar B 2/20, you’ll find us there at the Bhaskar School Of English Language. It’s not a massive institute, just a couple of rooms where we set up some chairs and a whiteboard. We’ve been helping people with their speaking and writing for a while now. A lot of our students are young adults who want to get a better job or maybe just feel more confident when they talk to others. We don't use any high-tech gadgets; it’s mostly just reading out of books and practicing conversations. Sometimes the sessions get a bit lively when everyone is trying to speak at once. We have morning batches and evening ones because that’s when most people are free. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which is good for teaching. We spend a lot of time correcting grammar and explaining why some words sound different than they’re spelled. It can be frustrating for the students sometimes, but we just keep at it. There’s no big staff here, just a few of us who know the language well enough to explain it. We drink a lot of tea between classes to keep our voices going. It’s a very basic setup, nothing like those big chain schools you see in the malls. We just focus on the lessons and hope the students find it useful for their daily lives. We are usually here until late in the evening.
