Bangalore Sales Corporation

Bangalore Sales Corporation has our warehouse over in Okhla Industrial Area Phase-2. It is at A136. If you know Okhla, you know the traffic can be a real nightmare, especially in the afternoons when all the trucks are trying to move at once. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. It is a large, high-ceilinged space with a lot of metal racks. We handle a lot of sales and distribution work from here. The office part is just a small partitioned area in the front where we keep the computer and the files. The rest of the place is all about moving boxes and loading pallets. It’s dusty work because of all the construction going on nearby, and we are constantly sweeping the floor. We have a small crew of guys who handle the loading and unloading. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy meetings. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the inventory against the invoices. It gets very hot in the warehouse during the summer months, but we just keep the big doors open and hope for a breeze. People come and go all day, and there’s always someone looking for a specific part or order. We just keep our heads down and try to keep things moving as fast as the Okhla traffic allows us to. It is just a lot of logistics and hard work.
