Laxmi Nagar is a crowded place, and our spot at No. 811 Guru Ram Das Extension is right in the middle of it. If you know Ramesh Park, you know how tight the lanes can get. Nobel India Overseas New Delhi has been operating from here for a bit. It’s a typical New Delhi setup where every inch of space is used for something. We spend a lot of time on the phone or tracking stuff on the screen. The air is always a bit dusty from the construction around the area, and there’s always someone moving a cart or a scooter outside. Our office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s got a few chairs that have seen better days and a clock that’s five minutes fast. We don’t mind it though. It’s home base for us. Dealing with overseas stuff from a place like Ramesh Park feels a bit funny sometimes, considering how local the vibe is here. Most of the people around us are running small shops or living in the flats upstairs. We show up early, deal with whatever came in overnight, and try to get out before the evening traffic gets too bad. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait it out. It’s a simple operation really. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the paperwork.
