This location is out by the IGI Domestic Airport at the BPCL Vinod Service Station. It’s a strange spot for a restaurant if you think about it, right in the middle of a petrol pump. We get a lot of taxi drivers and people who are dropping off their families at the terminal. It’s very practical. The air always smells a bit like fuel and exhaust fumes from the cars idling outside. We spend our day in this small space, keeping the food ready for people who don't have much time. Most customers are just stretching their legs or waiting for someone to arrive. The New Cargo Complex is nearby, so we see a lot of workers from there too. It gets incredibly hot in the summer because of all the concrete and the engines running nearby. We keep the air conditioning on full blast, but it struggles sometimes. The interior is simple, just some tables and the service counter. We don't have fancy decorations. Our main job is just making sure the food is hot and the drinks are cold. It’s a bit isolated from the rest of the city, so we mostly talk to the pump attendants or the regulars who work at the airport. It’s a repetitive job, but it’s interesting to see people from all over the country stopping by for ten minutes. We just keep the kitchen going for the next traveler.
