We run Sakshem Exim Pvt. Ltd. out of a place at L-15 on Street Number 7 in New Mahavir Nagar. It is a quiet enough street, and we have been here for a good while. Our office is nothing special to look at, just a regular room with desks, computers, and a lot of files stacked up. We handle export work and most of our day is spent on the logistics side of things. We are a small group and we do not really go in for the corporate lifestyle. We prefer being in a neighborhood like New Mahavir Nagar where we know the people around us. Most of our business comes from word of mouth because we have been in the industry for years. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and checking on the status of containers. It can be a bit stressful when there are delays, but we just keep at it. We do not have a fancy website or do much advertising. We just focus on the work that needs to be done today. Sometimes the office is quiet and other times it is a bit of a mess with all the documents we have to manage. We just try to be honest about what we can do and get the shipments out on time. It is a simple operation, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it. We are just real people doing real work.
