Naresh Kr. Gothwal Engineering Works

Naresh Kr. Gothwal Engineering Works is located in Kotla Mubarak Pur, tucked away on Lajpat Rai Lane. It is honestly a bit of a squeeze to get down these narrow roads, especially if there is a bus at the nearby stand blocking the way. We are situated at Plot No. C-451 in Nanak Chand Basti. It is a real old-school engineering shop. You will usually hear the sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of our machines before you even see our sign. My family has been doing this kind of manual work for a very long time. We handle all sorts of mechanical repairs and custom engineering jobs that people bring to us. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and a bit of oil, but that is just how it is when you are actually making things from scratch. It is a small operation, mostly just a few of us who really know the craft. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for guests. If you come by to see us, you will probably find us hunched over a lathe or busy with a welding machine. It gets incredibly hot in here during the summer months, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving enough to work. We are not interested in being a big company. We just want to do a solid job on the parts we make and keep things going.
