Ankita Overseas

Working out of DLF Towers in Moti Nagar means we spend a lot of time looking at the traffic on Shivaji Marg. Our office is number 322, and it’s a typical commercial space with a lot of glass and some desks pushed together. We do export work, so there’s always someone on the phone or typing away at a keyboard. It gets busy in the mornings when the emails from overseas start hitting the inbox. We’ve been here for a bit, and the building is usually full of people running around between different floors. It’s a lot of coordination, really. We talk to suppliers, check on the containers, and try to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port for too long. Lunch usually happens at our desks or sometimes we go down to find something quick nearby. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the sun hits the windows pretty hard in the middle of the day. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us moving. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always on. Sometimes the lift takes forever to come, so we end up standing around chatting with people from the other offices. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us. We don't really do anything flashy, we just focus on the logistics and making sure the boxes get where they are supposed to go.
