Mohan Dairy Confectionery

Our shop, Mohan Dairy Confectionery, is tucked away in Dilshad Colony F 80/1, which is part of the Dilshad Garden area. It’s been our spot for a good while. Every morning, the milk crates arrive before the sun is even up. We have to be here to take them in, otherwise, things just sit out on the curb. The fridge is always humming in the background. We keep the basic stuff like milk, curd, and bread, but also some sweets and snacks for the kids who stop by after school. The space isn’t very big, so we have to stack things high on the shelves. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific biscuit brand if it’s buried at the back. We know most of the people who come in by their faces. They don't really need to say much, we just know what they usually get. The floor gets scuffed from all the foot traffic, and we’re always wiping down the counters. It’s a simple life running a dairy and confectionery in Dilshad Garden. We deal with small change and heavy crates all day long. Sometimes the electricity acts up and we worry about the cold stuff, but we usually make do. It’s just a regular neighborhood shop where you can grab what you need for breakfast or a quick snack. We don't have fancy displays, just the usual glass jars and some posters on the wall that have been there for years.
