Dayal Poultry Appliances

Out here in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase-II, things move pretty fast. Dayal Poultry Appliances is located at C-160. It’s a big industrial zone, and our spot is right in the thick of it. We spend our days working on appliances meant for poultry farms. It’s a lot of metal work and assembly. The building at C-160 has been our base for a long time. Mayapuri is known for being a bit chaotic, with all the scrap dealers and workshops around, but we have our own little corner figured out in New Delhi. The air usually smells like grease and cut metal. We have some old desks in the back for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor where the equipment is kept. Some days we have a lot of parts coming in and the whole place is a bit of a mess until we get things sorted. We try to keep the tools in the right drawers, but they often end up on the benches anyway. It’s a practical environment. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating; the walls are just the same gray they’ve always been. We focus on the feeders and the other poultry gear we put together. It gets pretty loud when the metal cutters are running. Being in the 110064 zip code area means there are always plenty of tea stalls nearby for a quick break. We just focus on the job and getting through the day.
