Fellmonger

Our place is at FA-32 on the ground floor in Mansarover Garden. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been settled in this unit for some time now. We work with leather mostly. When you walk in, the first thing you’ll notice is the smell of the hides and the materials we use for the shoes and accessories. It is a small team here, just a handful of us who know how to handle the tools and the leather. We don't have a big glossy showroom or anything like that. There are just some shelves where we put the finished items so people can have a look if they drop by. We spend a lot of time sitting at the benches, cutting and stitching. Mansarover Garden isn't as loud as the main markets, so we can actually focus on what we are doing without too much distraction. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat or see what we are making that week. We don't really use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make things that are sturdy and look alright. The floor is often covered in small scraps of leather by the end of the day, so we have to clean up before heading home. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we are happy staying small and manageable in this ground floor spot. You can find us easily if you are around the FA block.
